Update Slide Content

Update Text Area

  1. While logged into the backend of the site, click on “Smart Slider” in the dark gray menu along the left side of your screen. You will be taken to the Smart Slider Dashboard.
  2. From the dashboard, click on the slider you would like to edit. The next screen will be the settings for the ENTIRE slider.
  3. Within the slider, you will see a preview of all the slides in the slider whether visible or invisible on the front end. Choose the appropriate slide. The next screen will show a preview of the slide.
  4. To update text, click on the text area on the slide preview. A popup will appear.
  5. Type in the changes in the text area. Do not make any changes to any other part of the area like design or animation.
  6. Save slide.

Update or Add Button

  1. Follow instructions 1-3 of Update Text Area.
  2. Click on the button to get the button popup to appear.
  3. The label is what the viewer will see. Change this in the first content area.
  4. To change the location of the link to a page or post on your site, click the green link button.
  5. On the link popup screen, choose WordPress. A list of all the pages and posts on your page will appear. Select the appropriate location.
  6. Save the slide.

  1. Follow instructions 1-3 of Update Text Area.
  2. Click the photo area.
  3. In the popup photo window, click the photo preview. This will open your media library.
  4. Choose your photo.
  5. Save the slide.
